UT Fan

Friday night was the big Sweet 16 UT basketball game, so we met Wayman and Jade up at a place near our house to eat and watch the game. Peyton got in on the action by supporting her team! And good news, UT won, we will see if they make it to the Final Four tonight against Memphis. Should be a good game!!!

Four Months!!!

I am finally 4-months old! Can you believe it?!?! Neither can my mom and dad!

We went to see Dr. Joe on Monday and he informed us that we can start on rice cereal. As you can see in the pictures below, Peyton isn't such a fan :) She weighed in at 12 pounds, 3 ounces, and is 26 inches long. Yep, she is still long and lean. She is in the 25% for weight and 75% for height. We still have a super-model on our hands.

Peyton is talking up a storm all of the time. She loves to hear herself squeal and will do that for 30 minutes straight. She has also started to roll over from her front to back. She is slowly (with help from mom and dad) getting the hang of going from her back to her belly. Every day is a new adventure for her, and it is just as exciting for us as well!

Here are some of the latest pics, enjoy!

I HATE CEREAL!!!

I love my GiGi and PaPa!!

This is my Great-Grandma Rose, we got to hang
out this weekend for a bit.

Cutie Pants!!

These are some bloomers that our friends, Kevin and Stephanie Taparauskas (I hope I spelled that correctly...) got us for Peyton. She has a little ways to go until she can fit into them, but I think they are too cute!!

She is having a great time learning about herself and finding her voice. She has discovered her feet and screams at the top of her lungs all of the time. It is really funny! Hopefully, I can get some of this on video and put it on here. She is screaming at Mike as I type this and I am cracking up!! :)

We go see Dr. Joe on Monday for our 4-month check-up and SHOTS!!! I will let you all know how she pulls through. I am sure she is gaining weight...Slowly, but surely :) And she is growing like a weed. I bet she is at least 25 or 26 inches by now. EASILY! I will be shocked if she isn't.

Here are the latest pics :) Enjoy!

Don't I have a cute bum?!?!

New Stuff

Peyton can finally hold her head up enough to sit in her Exersaucer. When I picked her up on Friday from daycare, Ms. Jennifer told me that Peyton had sat in the one up there for about 10 minutes. So, we thought that we would try it at home and she had a great time. As you can see she was laughing at one point. I have to wrap a blanket around her so that she fits into the toy and doesn't bobble around.

I bet she will start putting on a bit more weight. We have FINALLY gotten her to eat almost 30 ounces a day. It has taken us a long time to get there, but we are very close to 30 ounces. That will make Mommy and Daddy very happy!!!

Here are some of the latest shots.

This is new and I think I like it!

This is fun!!!

She can't help but drool when she eats, this is the result... Milkface :)

She looks like she is just lounging, hu. Nope, she is sound asleep.

Dr. Report and New Video

Monday, I took Peyton to the Dr. for a check up on her Acid Reflux. He said that things are going fabulously! We couldn't have heard better news. Well, except if he would have said that Peyton could get off of her medication, that would have been better I guess :) But, she is just great! She is slowly gaining weight, she weighed 11 pounds and 11 ounces. But, that was with all of her clothes on. I think that she probably weighs 11 8 or so. Which is still pretty good. We had to adjust her medication. She is now taking more of her Zantac - yes, the one that she HATES!!! Hopefully she will be off all of her medication at 6 months. At least that is what Dr. Joe thinks. That is what we are praying for :)

Well, last night Peyton and I were hanging out before bed. Mike was in Houston and Peyton started just gabbing and gabbing, so I grabbed my camera as quick as possible. I took about 3 minutes of her chatting away. Mike hates to miss out on these times, so I try to catch them as mush as I possibly can. Below is the video of it. Just adorable!!! She is starting to talk more and more each and every day! She is getting very close to rolling over without any of our help. Pretty exciting stuff :)

Back To Work...

We have had an exciting few days... we went to a wedding in Galveston on Thursday and then to Beaumont to visit with my family. Peyton was a little on the grumpy side throughout our stay. I think we just had her routine all our of whack. She seems like she is back to normal now. She had such a great time with her cousins, Jenna and Jude. Jude kept telling me that Peyton was smiling at him and grabbing his hand. They just adore their newest cousin! :)

Well, tomorrow we will go and see Dr. Joe to check up on Peyton's Acid Reflux. She seems to be doing OK with it. We have had a bit of a rough week with it though. But, the doc said that we will have s few bad days here and there and I guess we are in the middle of a few of those bad days. Last Tuesday we had to pick her up from school because she was "projectile vomiting." After a trip to see Dr. Joe, no fever and no more vomit, we determined that Peyton stuck her fingers down her throat and threw-up. She has discovered that her fingers are a perfect fit in her mouth, and likes to gag herself. Mommy and Daddy's reflexes have gotten REALLY good, and now we can go from the couch to wherever Peyton is in .02 seconds whenever we hear that wonderful gagging sound... That is my workout :) So, I will let everyone know what the doc has to say about the Acid Reflux tomorrow. Hopefully we are getting close to lowering the meds or coming off one of them. We shall see.

Here are some latest pics from this weekend.

Man, I am one cute little girl... Peyton is looking in her mirror that hangs in front of her in her car seat.

Baby Talk...

Peyton has started to talk more and more. Here is the latest!
