World, Meet Peyton Sara

Hello Everyone! Our little bundle of joy has finally arrived!!! After about a day of having pretty strong contractions, Peyton Sara was delivered by c-section at 3:16 on November 24. She weighed in at a whopping 7 pounds even and was 20 inches long. As you can see, she has the Lloyd height :)

This is Daddy on his first of many diaper changes. As you can see, he gloved-up... He has now decided to go without gloves, and has since gotten poop on his hands. That was his first, but not his last, "crappy" experience.

Peyton's Room - DONE!

We have FINALLY finished Peyton's room. OK, maybe not completely, we still are going to put something on the shelf above her dresser. But anyway, here are the pictures from her room. I just love it. Mike walked in the room on Sunday and said that we did a great job and loves it. Now, we just need the last missing piece, Peyton. Hopefully she will make her appearance SOON!!!

Just waiting around...

I went to the doctor on Monday, I am at weekly visits now, and he said that apparently Peyton really likes her living situation these days and isn't ready to make an appearance any time soon. I have tried to have a heart to heart with the little one, but she doesn't seem to care about how uncomfortable her mom is. So, it looks like she is going to be as stubborn as her mom and dad are.

Actually, it isn't too bad, I thought I would be much more miserable than I am. So, we are still on for a Turkey Day baby. Let's just pray that it is a fast and painless delivery :)

More Showering...

Well, I had a shower back in Beaumont in September and my wonderful sister sent me the pictures from it the other day. I had so much fun and we got so many wonderful things. Mike and I are truly blessed with such wonderful families and friends. This has been such a wonderful experience and we can't wait utnil Peyton gets here! Hope you enjoy the pictures!

Showering Time

I had another shower this past weekend. It was thrown by my girlfriends here in Austin. I had so much fun! Those girls sure know who to make you feel special! I love them dearly. I received so many great things and am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life! Here are some pictures from the shower.

Peyton's Room

So, Mike and I finally started on Peyton's room! It is coming together so nicely! I can't wait until she is in there. We had some issues with the painting of the stripes, but I think they turned out perfect! We still have some shelves to purchase and drapes to hang and little things to put in there to make it how we (or I) really want it. It is really a girly room, but I love it! Sorry the pictures are a bit dark, I am still trying to figure out the camera Mike gave me for Christmas last year.
