She's a YEAR!!!!!

Can you believe it, Peyton is a year old. It just seems like yesterday that we were telling everyone that we were expecting. Time flies faster and faster now :(

Here are just two pictures from her party this past weekend, I will put more up here when I have a bit more time. Today is her 12-month well check, so I will have plenty more to write about later today :)

I just loved these pictures... Not much happening around the house. Just a lot of gib-gabbing, walking and laughing! Things couldn't be better! But, if anyone can tell me how to tell your daughter "NO!" and not have her smile at you - I am all ears!!!

Our First Halloween and Race for the Cure

This past weekend was full of Peyton's firsts. Friday was Peyton's very first Halloween! She was Cindy Lou Who from How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I thought the costume turned out perfect!!! I even got the antenna right! She had a red ornament with her when we went door to door. I also have other pictures on my camera - these are from my phone.

RACE FOR THE CURE~

On Sunday, November 2, my mom, dad, Mike, Peyton and I completed the Race for the Cure. I ended up raising over $250. I was very proud. We were walking in memory of my grandmother Sara "Meemaw" Jackson. She passed away in September 2007. Peyton was named after her (Peyton Sara). We had a great time! Just check out Peyton's shoes!!! Mom and Dad - thanks again for coming into town for the walk, we really appreciate it and had a fantastic time with you guys!

This was Peyton the other day at Dr. Joe's office. She has been feeling pretty crummy lately, so we went to see him. She grabbed my sunglasses, put them on and kept saying "OOOHHH." It was fabulous!!!

Last Thursday, when I picked up Peyton at school, Wanda had put Peyton's hair in pigtails! It was SOOOO cute! The other picture is what I found when Peyton was playing in her room. She was trying to get into her Bumbo chair by herself. It was really cute! Enjoy!

Sad Day...

On Saturday, October 11, my Grandma Rose (dad's mom) passed away. She was 91 and lived an amazing life. She practically raised my dad and his two brothers and three sisters by her self. My dad's father passed away when my dad was 15, and my grandmother never remarried. This is a picture of her and Peyton. She will be greatly missed. But, I know that she is in heaven with many people and is probably having a cup of coffee and some biscottis with my Meemaw (she passed away last year).
